Thrive was founded in Bangladesh in 2012 by three moms who saw hungry children and knew they had to help.
They asked schools in the neighboring urban slums what the children needed most. The resounding response was food.
They started by bringing bananas to one school weekly. With global and local support, the menu expanded, and more hungry children were fed across Bangladesh and later the Philippines.
With the overwhelmingly positive community response Thrive received, we expanded our meals and the schools we serve.
Our promise continues to grow.
